Lara Zeidan is a Lebanese/Canadian award winning writer/director based in London.
After pursuing an undergraduate degree in Graphic Design at the American University of Beirut, she decided to translate her acquired skills into filmmaking. In 2015, she enrolled at the London Film School, MA in Filmmaking course, where she developed her skills as a writer/director and production designer.
Her graduation film "Three Centimetres" had its world premiere at the Berlinale 2018, where it won the 32nd Teddy Award for Best Short Film. Since then, it has screened at more than 90 festivals over the world and won numerous awards including Best British/Irish Short Film at the London Critics' Circle Film Awards 2018, the Chris Collins Best of British Live Action at Encounters Film Festival 2018, and the Iris Prize 2018. She is a Berlinale Talents 2019 Alumni.
Lara is currently in post-production for her IRIS Prize funded short film “A Beautiful Form to See”, starring Alicia Agneson (Vikings).
